The German premium car manufacturer of the four rings,
presents the new Audi R8 Exclusive Selection Edition, a special version of the
R8 produced in limited edition, dedicated to the V8 and V10 models and
available only for the U.S. market.
According to rumors, it would be an exclusive version that
should be in the best way to salute this generation of the Audi R8, as soon
will the new MY 2013.
Moving on to its features, the Audi R8 V8 Exclusive
Selection Edition differs from the basic model for the particular painting Daytona
Gray, with carbon inserts on many body parts and lights very similar to
those mounted on GT versions. As for the aesthetic, we also find the flashy
19-inch alloy wheels 5 spokes that go to show up in the brake calipers, painted
in red.
Inside the car, the seats are full leather, dashboard
covered with the same base material and the navigation system and steering
wheel. No changes on propulsion, the 4.2 FSI V8 which retains its 430
horsepower with a torque of 430 Nm.
For the Audi R8 V10 Edition Exclusive Selection are
the same characteristics of the V8 version, only difference is in the painting,
which in this case is the White Ibis, which aims to counter the less powerful
version of the Daytona Gray. As well as the V8, in addition, the V10 5.2 FSI
maintains its original performance, i.e. the maximum delivery of 525 horsepower
with a torque of 510 Nm.
Both versions of the Audi R8 Exclusive Selection Edition
will be produced in limited edition through the end of August there will be
only 20 examples for the V8 and V10 for the 30 specimens with respective prices
of 111,369 euros and 130,617 euros. For the R-Tronic automatic transmission,
just add the amount of 7,400 euros.
